These terms apply to the supply of services and goods by GeeksAtDoor (ABN 81 480 225 391) ("we", "us" or "our") to you, the customer. By booking a service you agree to these terms.
1. Services
We provide on-site and remote IT support services as described on our website. Services are confirmed via a booking confirmation. Pricing is disclosed and agreed before confirmation.
Repair Notice: Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type. Refurbished parts may be used. Repair may result in the loss of user-generated data. Please back up your data before our technician arrives.
2. On-Site Services
2.1 Duration and Charging
A one-hour minimum applies. Further charging is in half-hour blocks. Most issues are resolved in the first hour. If the technician expects it will take longer, they will advise you within the first 15 minutes and give you options before proceeding.
For on-site services, if we cannot find a solution to your problem we will not charge you for the on-site visit.
2.2 Cancellation
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, we may charge a cancellation fee equal to one hour of service. A credit equal to this fee will be applied to your account for 12 months.
2.3 Service Areas
On-site services are available within our designated service areas. Enter your postcode at booking to confirm availability.
2.4 Your Obligations
- A person aged 18 or over must be present for the duration of the visit
- Provide access to your premises, devices and a safe working environment
- Provide electrical power and internet access where applicable
- Back up all data before the technician arrives
- Treat our technicians with respect. We reserve the right to terminate a visit if our technicians are subjected to abusive, aggressive or threatening behaviour
2.5 Same-Day Service
Same-day service may be available for an additional surcharge in metro areas and is always subject to availability.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You warrant that you are the owner or authorised user of all devices and software you ask us to access
- You are responsible for backing up all data before we access your systems
- We are not responsible for data loss, alteration or corruption
- You agree we may access, modify and temporarily impair your data to the extent necessary to carry out services
4. Payment
On-site service fees are payable immediately on completion of services. Payment is by credit or debit card. All fees include GST where applicable.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to cancel and receive a refund. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the amount paid. We are not liable for loss of data, loss of revenue, or events beyond our reasonable control.
7. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time by publishing changes on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Australia.
